Fall is here. It’s one of the seasons that requires decor for interior and exterior. October generally marks the introduction into fall as it’s a great reminder that halloween is right around the corner. That’s whats so great about the exterior decor for Fall because it’s a wonderful opportunity to mix halloween and fall decor together. Pumpkins are usually the number one item that blends both halloween and fall together. The trick is to have a mixture of both traditional orange pumpkins and neutral white pumpkins, the idea is to mix different colours and shapes to create depth. What is great about the neutral pumpkin is that once halloween is over it can still be part of the overall fall decor.
Even though the temperature drops and the coats come-on Fall is all about fun. There are so many colours to use, such as orange, green, and yellow, these colours can sound overwhelming to insert into a room but it’s all about moderation and the tone. Having neutral as the foundation of your space is crucial as the bold colours will be an accent colour. When it comes to the bold accent colour, pastel tone is less saturated which will make the space feel light and airy. Dark tone colours can break some of the pastel tone to prevent the space from looking washed up.
